Crispy Onion Rings

How about some crunchy, crispy onion rings? These onion rings are definitely delicious and crispy! Making your own homemade onion rings are the best.  So, today I was in the mood for some fried food. I made these crispy onion rings and some deep fried pickles (which I’ll post later). These are not difficult to make, it just takes a little bit of time, but it’s so worth it!

Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip

Are you ready for a good tailgating appetizer that’s super easy and tastes really, really good? This would be the one to make that will have your guests wanting more! When I say “easy,” it really is. Just mix the ingredients together, throw it in the microwave, and in about 10 minutes, you are set to go. It’s a bit on the spicy side, so you can adjust as needed if you like a milder tasting dip.

Spicy Salsa with Baked Corn Chips

Salsa is a favorite among our household. This spicy salsa recipe was made by my beautiful daughter Halie. She did an excellent job and this salsa tastes delicious. There’s nothing better than a healthy snack. It’s so nice to be able to whip up some homemade salsa at any time. It’s definitely not hard and tastes great! No more buying store bought salsa for us!

Fried Dill Pickles

The first time I heard of “fried dill pickles,” I was like, “What the heck?” So,  with hesitation, I ordered some. Oh my, they were so delicious! Crispy, crunchy and a.m.a.z.i.n.g! Now, every time we go out to eat where they serve fried dill pickles, we always order some. I decided that this would be a good recipe for the blog and wanted to share it with all of you.

Spicy Hummus with Avocado

I was never a fan of hummus growing up. I actually was never a fan even as an adult. I have always been a fan of avocados though. I tried hummus for the first time about 5 years ago and it was just “ok.” Now though, it is super good. What was I missing all those years? This spicy hummus with avocado hits the spot when you need a snack during the day or just feel like munching on something healthy.
