About

Welcome

Thank you for stopping by Great Grub, Delicious Treats.

Hi there, I’m Terri. I’m a self-taught cook/foodie at heart, mom to three kids, photographer and full time food blogger. I have a love for amazing food and simply love being in the kitchen. I have a wonderful boyfriend who supports everything I do. How is it that I can dirty almost every pan in the house and he continually helps clean up my disaster. What a guy!

Before being able to blog full time, I was a Hospice Admissions RN. It was a really tough job but very rewarding. By rewarding I mean, being able to make a difference for our patients and their families. It’s hard to explain what it’s like to be a hospice RN but if any of you have worked with hospice patients, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

I’m also a lover of photography. Taking beautiful pictures has always been something I’ve loved since high school, actually junior high. It wasn’t until 2014 that food photography became a passion of mine and when I started my blog.

Both my daughters, Nikki and Halie, are now working for me. Nikki just got out of the Navy after 11 years. She had joined the Navy right after high school and has seen so much and been so many amazing places in her young life.  Halie was a toddler teacher at a Montessori school here in the Houston area and has now joined the team as well. Both girls have contributed so much since joining Great Grub, Delicious Treats.

We are so excited that you are here and hope that you stay awhile and look around at all of our recipes! We love to share great tasting recipes with all of you. Some of our recipes have been in the family for many, many years.

Again, thank you for visiting. Don’t forget to sign up to follow us by email, that way you will not miss a single recipe!
