Garlic Lime Steak Bites is steak bites on a white plate with blue trim with parsley garnishing the plate.

What Temperature Should I Cook the Steak

This is a personal preference. These steak bites will taste amazing no matter what temperature you cook them to. Although, some people think that any steak that is cooked more than medium rare is over done, other feel like steak with any pink in it isn’t done enough.

Cook the steaks until the color is the way you enjoy it. Remember that the steak continues to cook slightly after you have taken it off the heat.

What is the Best Steak to Use For Garlic Steak Bites

I like to use rib eyes steaks, sirloin or New York Strip steak for this recipe. While these are higher in price, they are the best price range and have the right amount of flavor to make this recipe perfect. Also by using these cuts of beef, you know you will have flavorful steak that can be cooked tender and delicious.

When you can find these steaks on sale, I recommend buying extra, and making a large batch of these steak bites. Eat some for dinner and freeze the rest. When you have a craving for garlic lime steak bites, you will be able to pull them from the freezer and pair it with your favorite sides.

How to Store Garlic Lime Steak Bites

If you have leftovers of this delicious lime garlic steak bites recipe, you will want to store it in the refrigerator. This will prevent the meat from spoiling. It will last about 3 to 4 days as long as it is stored in an airtight container and kept in the refrigerator.

How to Reheat Steak Bites

I like to reheat the steak bites in a skillet on the stove top or on a sheet pan in the oven. You will also want to watch the temperature of the steak. If you have cooked the steak to a certain temperature like, medium rare, when you are reheating it, it is likely to cook to medium or medium well.
