Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken Red Beans and Rice
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
- 1 onion, large, chopped
- 4 slices Three Alarm Cheese, cut thick (from Sam's Club®) or use your favorite cheese
- 1 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 12 oz box Zatarain's Red Beans and Rice®
- 32 oz chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Spray a 6 quart crock pot with non stick spray and turn to high.
- Add onions to bottom of crock pot.
- Place chicken breasts on top of onions.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add cheese to the top of chicken and then spoon soup on top to cover.
- Next, add red beans and rice and chicken broth.
- Cover and cook for 6-8 hours on high, 10-12 hours on low.
