Here’s a super quick and easy delicious recipe that’s perfect for the upcoming holidays. Sausage kielbasa green beans are an easy side dish recipe to add to the holiday menu. Perfect for Thanksgiving dinner or Christmas dinner as well, this green bean recipe with the sausage kielbasa is super simple to make.

Green beans are always on our dinner table during the holidays. Usually it’s my delicious bacon green beans that are a family favorite. There are never any leftovers of those because they are so stinkin’ delish. These sausage kielbasa green beans are great as well and will be gobbled up in no time.

Ingredients Needed To Make These Kielbasa Green Beans

  • Sausage Kielbasa Smoked Sausage
  • Green beans
  • Red Onion
  • Butter
  • Pepper
  • Water

How To Make Sausage Kielbasa Green Beans

Just cut up the kielbasa into 1/2″ thick slices, fry over medium heat in a little water until browned a bit then add butter, green beans, remaining liquid and pepper. That’s it. Super easy and super delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs sausage kielbasa, sliced 1/4-1/2" thick
  • 2 15 oz cans green beans, drained but reserve 1/2 cup of liquid
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions
 

  • In a large dutch oven, heat water over medium heat. Add kielbasa and onions. Stir occasionally until sausage is heated thoroughly (most of the water will evaporate as the sausage cooks).
  • Once kielbasa has been heated and slightly browned, add butter, green beans, remaining liquid and pepper. 
  • Cover and cook until green beans are heated thoroughly, stirring occasionally. 
  • Pour into a serving dish and enjoy.

    This is yummy. I make this often. Only thing I do different is I sub bacon grease for the butter. (I’m from the south & we always use bacon grease when cooking our green beans.)
