- 2 lbs sausage kielbasa, sliced 1/4-1/2" thick
- 2 15 oz cans green beans, drained but reserve 1/2 cup of liquid
- 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
In a large dutch oven, heat water over medium heat. Add kielbasa and onions. Stir occasionally until sausage is heated thoroughly (most of the water will evaporate as the sausage cooks).
Once kielbasa has been heated and slightly browned, add butter, green beans, remaining liquid and pepper.
Cover and cook until green beans are heated thoroughly, stirring occasionally.
Pour into a serving dish and enjoy.
