Pear Walnut Crisp

Baked fruit crisps are amazing and I have made many different types of fruit crisps. This pear walnut crisp has a buttery crunchy topping with the sweet taste of pears in every bite. I am so getting into the fall season. Seriously, it’s my favorite time of year for baking and you will love this pear crisp. What a great dessert to kick off your holiday baking.

What Can I Make With Pears

I also made a pear pecan cobbler, along with this recipe last weekend.  You can never have too much goodness when it comes to seasonal fruit desserts. I needed to use up my pears and what better way than a quick and easy pear walnut crisp and a pear pecan cobbler.

Pear Walnut Crisp

How often do you have fruit that does not get eaten? Fruit, in general, seems to go bad at our house but when added to a baked crisp like this, that ripe fruit makes such an awesome tasting dessert. This pear walnut crisp is just such an example of a great way to use up fruit before they get tossed, especially if you buy a lot of fruit like we do.
