Homemade Cherry Filling Recipe
This homemade cherry filling is made with fresh, juicy, sweet cherries. A perfect cherry filling that you can use to top pancakes, waffles and crepes with and it’s a delicious topping for cheesecakes, pound cakes and brownies too.

How To Make Homemade Cherry Filling
- Rinse, cut cherries in half and remove the seeds and stems.
- Place the cherries in a small sauce pan and add sugar, water and lemon juice.
- Cook over low/medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Let cherries boil for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Mix 3 tablespoons of water with corn starch and add to pan.
- Once cherry mixture has thickened, remove from heat.
- Serve warm over pancakes, waffles or crepes or let cool and top cheesecakes, pound cakes, brownies, etc.

- 2 ¼ cups fresh Bing cherries, halved, pitted
- â…“ cup sugar
- â…“ cup + 3 Tbsp water, divided
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
Instructions
