Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

These delicious, made from scratch, extra thick and chewy, soft and fudgy, chocolate chocolate chip cookies are a favorite with our family. Full of chocolaty goodness, these cookies are so scrumptious and will be devoured in no time.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies are thick, soft and chewy, loaded with chocolate chips, chocolate chunks and walnuts.

The Best Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hands down, these are the best double chocolate chip cookies. If you love chocolate, you are going to LOVE these cookies. Loaded with chocolate chips, chunks of chocolate and chopped walnuts, these cookies are super thick, super soft and are simply the tastiest.

Ultimate Chocolate Cookies

My daughter’s boyfriend loves, loves, loves these cookies and these cookies always get rave reviews whenever I make them. My neighbors even got to enjoy these ultimate chocolate decadent cookies as well.

I’ve actually been on a cookie kick lately, baking up a storm. Another cookie recipe that will be posted soon is my Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies. Those are Oh my goodness, super scrumptious too! So be on the lookout for those delicious cookies if you love caramel mixed in with your chocolate. Super tasty!

There is just something about fresh baked cookies straight out of the oven. That oven baked goodness when it comes to delicious cookies, what is better than that? YUM! Ready to bake up a batch?

How To Make Thick Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Using a medium mixing bowl, whisk flour, Hershey’s® Cocoa, baking soda and salt together, set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar, brown sugar until creamy.
  • Beat vanilla and corn syrup then add eggs into mixture and beat until creamy.
  • Gradually add flour mixture into sugar mixture and combined.
  • Stir chocolate chips, chocolate chunks, chopped walnuts into cookie mixture.
  • Using a 1″cookie scoop, or by rounded teaspoon, drop onto ungreased baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges just start to brown.
  • Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies are deliciously chocolaty, thick and rich, and super soft.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Hershey's® Cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate baking bar (2 oz), coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

    This looks like an outrageous cookie! One question though, what kind of baking chocolate did you use? Sweetened, or baking chocolate that isn’t sweetened. My instincts say bittersweet chocolate or semi-sweet. I hope this isn’t a stupid question! I gave it 4 stars because I haven’t made it yet. It looks like a 5 star though ;)

      Hi Allison, thank you so much! I actually used Nestle’s dark chocolate baking bar in this recipe along with the semi sweet chocolate chips and Hershey’s cocoa powder. Your instincts were exactly right! :) I hope you enjoy these cookies.

    Just wondering where is the chocolate in the chocolate chocolate chip cookies, all I see that is chocolate are the stir ins? Am I missing something?
