Cranberry Walnut Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Right out of the oven, these cranberry walnut chocolate chunk cookies are to die for. Each cookie is super soft and packed full of delicious flavor.
Perfect cookies to make for the holidays along with my cranberry pecan oatmeal cookies. Both cookies tastes fantastic and are very festive sitting on the holiday dessert table.
As you can see, these cookies have chocolate loaded throughout each cookie. I brought these cookies to work and EVERYONE seriously devoured them. I wish I had baked more because these cookies were gobbled up fast.

Cranberry Walnut Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter, 1 1/2 sticks, softened
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 Tbs light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate cut into small chunks, about 8-10 small pieces from Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Bar
- 3/4 bag chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt together, set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and corn syrup together until creamy.
- Next beat in 2 eggs and vanilla until incorporated.
- Add flour mixture, stir until just blended.
- Stir cranberries, walnuts, chocolate chips and chocolate chunks into mixture.
- Place dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, using a 1" cookie scoop, place dough on prepared cookie sheet, 2" apart.
- Place cookie dough back into the fridge while waiting for the cookies to bake until the next batch is ready to be placed on the cookie sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges start to brown.
- Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool.

You say prepared cookie sheet? Does it need to be greased or use Silpak mat?
