St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and I’m already planning my menu. Of course, Reuben sliders will be on the menu for party-sized corn beef goodness.

I’ll also be serving up sweets like frosted St Patrick’s Day cookies, St Patrick’s Day sugar cookies, and St Patrick’s Day Muddy Buddies.

This year, I’ll be adding these tasty white chocolate Oreos to the menu, as well! They’re so easy to make, so sweet, and so festive. SO, why not try them?

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • VERY Limited Ingredients: It only takes 3 ingredients to make these.
  • So Easy: This is as simple as melting and dipping. That’s all there is to it!
  • Customizable: You can easily tweak this recipe for different occasions.
  • Versatile: These make a great dessert, afternoon snack, or addition to any party.

Key Ingredients

I’ve listed all 3 ingredients here, but you can find their exact amounts in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

A wood surface with the ingredients to make white chocolate dipped Oreos on it.
  • Oreo Cookies: The classic sandwich cookie we all love!
  • White Melting Chocolate: This is just as sweet as regular white chocolate but easier to work with.
  • St Patrick’s Day Sprinkles: For a festive look.

Variations

  • Oreo Cookies: Any of your favorites will work. Mint might be a good choice for St Patrick’s Day, but you can use them all, even the double-stuff!
  • White Melting Chocolate: Use regular melting chocolate if you prefer. You can also use chocolate or vanilla almond bark.
  • Sprinkles: Use different holiday and color themes for every occasion.

How to Make White Chocolate Dipped Oreos

A wood surface with a cup filled with melted white chocolate in it with an Oreo being dipped into the chocolate.

Step 1: Melt the white chocolate according to the package directions. Then, dip half of each Oreo into it.

A baking sheet lined with parchment paper with 24 white chocolate dipped Oreos on it.

Step 2: Place the dipped Oreos on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and top with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet. Let it harden and enjoy!

Expert Tips

  • Work quickly to prevent your chocolate from hardening before you add the sprinkles.
  • Be sure to use parchment paper, not wax paper. Otherwise, the warm chocolate will melt the wax on the paper.

White Chocolate Dipped Oreos FAQs

How long will white chocolate dipped Oreos last?

Store them in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months in an airtight, freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag.

Do you have to refrigerate white chocolate dipped Oreos?

This recipe generally doesn’t require refrigeration. However, be sure to store them in a cool spot to avoid softening. If you live in a particularly hot area, refrigeration might be preferable.

Can I use regular chocolate for these dipped Oreos?

You can, but you’ll have to be much more careful. Melting regular white chocolate requires careful heating and stirring to prevent scorching. In addition, you’ll need to add a bit of coconut oil.
