There’s nothing better than artichoke dip for parties, movie nights, or just as a snack, especially when it’s baked up nice and hot! I’ve been making this delicious artichoke dip for years, now, and like so many of my recipes, I made this one because it pulled double duty. When you have kids, every meal and snack you make is prepared with them and their friends in mind. I used to make this dip on Sunday nights for movie nights, then let my kids and their friends chow down on it the next day after school. I’ve also brought it to parties and potlucks more times than I can count. Whether it’s a Super Bowl party, birthday bash, or a potluck, this dip is always a winner, and it’s always devoured fast.

Hot Artichoke Dip

This delicious dip only uses a handful of simple ingredients that come together to create a dip that is absolutely overflowing with flavor. It starts with mayonnaise for an extra creamy base. Then, I add cream cheese, parmesan cheese, and of course, tons of artichoke hearts! After that, it’s all baked to ooey, gooey perfection. What I end up with is a creamy, hot dip that has the zesty flavor of artichokes and the earthy, rich, cheesiness of parmesan. It’s a delicious, flavorful appetizer or snack that everyone always comes back for again and again.

Why You’ll Love This Hot Artichoke Dip Recipe

  • It only takes 4 ingredients that you can easily find at your local grocery store.
  • It’s a delicious dip for parties, gameday, potlucks, or just an afternoon snack.
  • And, it’s so easy to make!

Baked Artichoke Dip Variations

Surprise! A recipe this easy has absolutely no tips at all. You simply cannot mess it up. How’s that for easy? I have some great variations, though, that I think you’ll enjoy.

  • You can use full-fat Greek Yogurt in place of about 2/3 of the Mayonnaise for a slightly different flavor.
  • Try adding crumbled bacon to your dip. Bacon makes everything better!
  • Add a layer of provolone or mozzarella cheese to the top of your dip before baking for a golden brown, extra cheesy dip.
  • Fresh spinach or frozen spinach is a great addition.

Can artichoke dip be frozen?

Not if it has mayonnaise in it. No matter how well you freeze a mayonnaise-based dip or topping, the mayo will separate when defrosting and make a watery, unappetizing goo.

Any kind! Pita, potato, tortilla, and veggie chips all taste delicious with this dip. Any kind of cracker is always a winner, too.

What is the best thing to serve with artichoke dip?

Any kind of chip or cracker works wonderfully. Veggie chips and pretzels are also excellent, as are vegetable sticks.

How to Store and Reheat
