A hearty comfort food recipe loaded with tender strips of beef, seasoned perfectly, fresh broccoli florets and extra wide egg noodles, all in a creamy and delicious sauce. This dish is the perfect dinner meal the whole family will enjoy.
Beef and broccoli is such a delicious combination. You’ll always find it on the menu of any Asian restaurant. It’s everywhere, and it’s always delicious. But what if you took beef and broccoli and turned it into a creamy, American-style bake? That’s exactly what I did with this recipe, and the results were spectacular. I’ve been making this recipe for quite a while now, and it’s always a big hit. I love it because it’s perfect for a weeknight meal or a potluck, and everyone else loves it because it’s just so darn good!
Beef and Broccoli Pasta
This beef and broccoli pasta takes the classic combination of beef and broccoli and turns it on its head. The traditional preparation of beef and broccoli coated in a sauce full of Asian flavors is replaced with a cheesy, creamy sauce that’s more like a traditional American casserole. The beef and broccoli combine with onions, garlic, cheeses, and egg noodles to create a dish that is absolutely overflowing with flavor but not work.

Before you dive into this recipe, take a moment to read this FAQ. It has all the commonly asked questions regarding beef and broccoli, so you’ll find a wealth of knowledge about this recipe before you even put your skillet on the stove!
What is Beef and Broccoli?
Traditional beef and broccoli is made with steak strips and broccoli florets in a ginger and garlic sauce. However, this recipe features a creamy sauce, cheese, and egg noodles.
What Cut of Beef Should be Used for Beef and Broccoli Pasta?
The best cut of beef to use for this recipe is sirloin steak. It’s relatively easy to cook up to tender perfection. Chuck roast or flank steak will also work as well.
How do I Make My Sirloin Steak More Tender?
There are several ways to make sirloins steak more tender, from marinades to physically tenderizing it. This recipe uses two of those methods. First, bring your meat to room temperature before browning it in the pan. Secondly, simmering the dish for about 30 minutes cooks it low and slow, the preferred method for tender sirloin steak.
