Oatmeal cookies are super scrumptious and these Apple Walnut Oatmeal Cookies are even better.

While these cookies were baking, my whole house smelt so delicious. The aroma filled every room with the delicious smell of piping hot, fresh, homemade, cookies. Totally reminded me of fall. However, it’s not fall yet, and here in the Houston area, we are seeing triple digit temperatures, plus the humidity. Fall cannot get here fast enough!

These look so delicious! Do you have a way to make these vegan? Flax egg, and maybe applesauce instead of the butter?
Hi Cindy, Yes you could easily change it to Vegan. I have a Vegan oatmeal cookie recipe on the blog. I used Vegan butter and 2 Tbs flaxseed + 6 Tbs water (equals 2 eggs).
