Little Smokie Crescents

Everyone knows how to make these little smokie crescents but what you might not know is that using a crock pot to keep them warm is ideal. With all the prep that goes into planning, preparing and serving a holiday meal, having an appetizer that everyone loves already prepared, frees up time for other preparations. And boy we all know about needing to save time in the kitchen.

Little Smokie Crescents

An appetizer that is this easy could be made first thing and then pop these tasty little smokie crescents into the crock pot, set it to warm and forget about it. Well, if you are like me, every time I walked past the crock pot I had to ‘sample’ these addictive little goodies.

Little Smokie Crescents

For the most part, these will stay crispy. After hours and hours, they do tend to get a little soft but I honestly doubt that these will last long at all.

Little Smokie Crescents

Only 2 ingredients

Little smokies are usually the first appetizer to go at our house. Who doesn’t like these little smokies wrapped all snug up in a mini crescent? All you have to do is pop open the can, separate the triangles and cut each one into 3 triangles. So out of one roll of crescents, you should end up with 24 mini crescents. Then roll each little smokie up, place them on an ungreased baking sheet, bake according to the package directions. Once they’re done put them in the crock pot on warm. That’s it! Presto, super simple, super delicious!

Little Smokie Crescents

Having a variety of appetizers is always a good idea at holiday parties and especially when they are super simple like these little smokie crescents.

These little smokies are awesome. They are just so tasty and the combination or these two ingredients just go hand in hand.
