Apple Pecan Cinnamon Rolls
The original recipe I found was actually savory, not sweet. It used crescent rolls, butter, and parmesan cheese. I thought it was a great idea, and I decided to use that same sensibility but make cinnamon rolls instead. The results? Pure deliciousness.
These cinnamon rolls start with Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls. I roll them up with a delicious apple cinnamon filling made from scratch, brown sugar, melted butter, and chopped pecans and then bake it to perfection. What I end up with are cinnamon rolls that have a little something extra to them. The crescent roll dough combined with classic cinnamon roll flavors is like nothing you’ve had before, and it’s so, so good.

Delicious. I have to admit that I am impressed with the outcome. Although I had doubts for receipe did not state to roll from small end and I rolled long way, it still worked great. Thank you
Hi D, I’m so glad you enjoyed this recipe. You do roll up from the shorter end. Thank you so much for sharing! :)
So do all three rolls sort of get stacked on top of the other? I’m trying to imagine how they will lay end to end. Assuming the first roll wraps around the center and the ends touch. Do you then stack the other two on top? Thanks!
Hi May, they will all fit in the Bundt pan. It will be a tight fit. Roll them up from the short end and when they are all rolled up, lay each one in the pan. They will fit. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
Sorry but I think you left out a very important procedure in the receipe I saw on Google about rolling up from the small end. I just got done preparing this delicious looking receipe and could not figure out how they fit into the bundt pan, so 1 is kind of squished around the center of pan while the other two are end to end. I hope it works out, otherwise I’ve wasted a lot of ingredients. Thank you
Sounds SO good! I will try it using crescent sheets.
Hi Rose, I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do. :)
Can I prepare this ahead of time and store in the fridge to bake later?
Hi Pat, yes you can. I hope you enjoy this delicious cinnamon roll recipe. :)
Hi,
I like this recipe.
Thank you.
Just a couple of questions…are you rolling these up long side or short side? How are these put into the bundt pan? Side by side or on top of each other? Thanks!
Hi Sidney,
We are rolling them up from the shorter side and laying each one in the pan. So all three will be placed in a single layer. :)
Is there a video to watch how you made this?
Hi Tina, I do not have a video made yet. Hopefully we can get one made soon. :)
This sounds like the classic Monkey Bread. I don’t use Cresant rolls I just use biscuits and cut them into four pieces. I roll them in sugar and cinnamon and place them in the bunt pan. If I’m adding nuts or apples, I put them on the bottom of the pan then the bisciuits. Then I melt a stick of butter and a cup of brown sugar. It gets poured all over the top then baked. I am definitely going to do this receipe with cressant rolls.!!
Thank you so much for sharing Wahnema. I hope you enjoy this easy cinnamon roll recipe. :)
Hello! Can you elaborate on how you press the three logs in the pan? Do they stack on top of each other?
Hi Emily, after you roll all three crescent rolls up, from the shorter end, with the filling, lay each one in the pan. They do not lay on each other. Lay the first one, then next to that, lay the other one and finally, lay the third one in and just push the other two so there is room for the third. I hope that makes sense. :)
Great recipe. Cut it down to 1 -2 servings and nix nix on the pecans as I don’t like them. These cam out fantastic!!! Thanks for posting.
Thank you so much for sharing Kathi! I’m so glad you enjoyed this recipe. :)
Do you put the rolls in the pan end to end?
Hi, yes that is how I did it. It’s a tight fit but it works. I hope you enjoy this recipe. :)
