We usually make these in a pan on the stove but I had purchased a barbecue grill and griddle set last summer that worked perfectly. Actually, today was the first time I used them. I definitely can say we will be using the heck out of them this summer.

If you end up with any leftovers, all you need to do is wrap them up in aluminum foil and place them in the fridge. When you are ready to re-heat them, unwrap the foil and place them in a pan, cook over low heat, or use the microwave, or put them right on the grill in the aluminum foil.

How To Make BBQ Smoked Sausage Bites
Step 1 – Prep Time
Slice sausages into bite-size pieces and place sausage in a large bowl. Pour barbecue sauce over the sausages and stir to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to grill.
Step 2 – Grilling the Sausages
Spray a flat grilling pan with non-stick cooking spray. Turn the grill on low. Place grill pan on the barbecue. Pour sausages into pan and grill until done, turning frequently.
Step 3 – Remove from Grill
Turn grill off and remove pan. Add a toothpick into each bite, if desired, or place on a serving platter and enjoy!

BBQ Smoked Sausage Bites
Ingredients
- (2) 14 ounce packages Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage
- 2 cups Sweet Baby Ray’s® barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Cut each sausage link into bite size pieces.
- Put into a bowl and pour barbecue sauce over the top of the sausage bites.
- Stir until well coated.
- Cover with lid and refrigerate until ready for the barbecue.
- Turn BBQ flame to low.
- Spray a flat grilling pan, that is safe to use on the grill, with non stick spray.
- Place smoked sausage bites into pan and grill until done, turning frequently.
