Ingredients

ground beef

cup
onions,
finely chopped
1 ¼
cups
barbecue sauce,
divided

tsp
dried parsley
1
tsp
garlic salt
½
tsp
oregano
½
tsp
basil
½
tsp
pepper
1
egg
¼
cup
grated Parmesan cheese
⅓
cup
bread crumbs
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together and only ¼ cup of the barbecue sauce.
Using a 1 ½ inch cookie scoop, form meatballs and place on a large ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes then add the meatballs to a smaller size crock pot.
Pour remaining 1 cup of the barbecue sauce over meatballs and stir gently.
Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, then enjoy!
Notes
Tips
Mix the meatball ingredients until just combined. Overmixing creates tough meatballs.
Use a large cookie scoop to create uniform meatballs with far less effort and mess.
Don't overbake the meatballs. You want them to cook just enough to hold their shape.
Use a smaller slow cooker to ensure the meatballs "swim" in the sauce.
