In a medium saucepan over low heat, bring water, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice to a boil, stirring constantly.
Continue stirring until sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
Add apples, stir, and let simmer for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool completely. Set aside.
Roll out pie crust on a floured surface until thin and pliable.
Cut out 2½ inch squares and place 1 heaping tsp of apple filling on a piece of dough.
Top with another square and press edges down with a fork and cut off any excess dough.
Continue until all dough is used.
In a large frying pan heat oil over high heat.
Add 3-4 raviolis into hot oil and flip after 1 minute on each side or until golden brown.
Place on a paper plate lined with paper towels.
Transfer to a serving plate and dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
