Chicken Spaghetti Casserole

This delicious and easy chicken spaghetti casserole is definitely filling and satisfying. Made with deliciously seasoned chicken, a homemade spaghetti sauce and pasta. Always a favorite! Serve with a side salad and garlic bread for a scrumptious dinner everyone will enjoy.

  • 3 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded


  • Preheat oven to 400° and spray a 13x9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium high heat.
  • Add chicken and onions to the pan and cook until chicken is no longer pink and onions are translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute or two.
  • Pour tomato sauce, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, chicken broth and mushroom soup into chicken mixture. Stir until combined.
  • Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add pasta, stir to combine then spoon into prepared baking dish.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese, cover with aluminum foil and bake until cheese is melted, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Carefully remove from the oven.
  • Serve hot with a side salad and garlic bread.
