Pull Apart Garlic Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread, sliced diagonally, in both directions but do not cut all the way through
  • ½ cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° and place a large piece of aluminum foil on baking sheet.
  • In a small frying pan, over medium heat, melt butter and add garlic.
  • Cook for about 2-3 minutes then carefully pour butter mixture over bread getting into the crevasses.
  • Place cheese in between the sections of cut bread and place on foil.
  • Wrap and tent the foil. This keeps the cheese from sticking to the foil.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes then remove.
  • Carefully open foil and return to oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and enjoy.
