Garlic Lime Steak Bites

  • 2 rib eye steaks, cut into 1" pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted and cooled a bit
  • ½ tsp Slap Ya Mama seasoning
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil


  • Cut steak into 1 inch size pieces and place in a gallon size baggie.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients, except vegetable oil and pour into baggie. Seal and shake to coat and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in cast iron skillet over medium high heat.
  • Using a slotted spoon, remove steak bites from baggie and place into skillet and sear for about 2 minutes on each side.
  • Once steak bites have browned, add juice from baggie into pan, stir, heat and then remove from skillet and enjoy.
