Brown Sugar Pecan Crust

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° and butter a 2 quart baking dish. Set aside.
  • In a large pot of water over medium high heat, boil sweet potatoes until tender. Drain. Or bake at 400° for 50-60 minutes depending on the size of the sweet potatoes.
  • Using a medium bowl, combine sweet potato ingredients together and stir to combine thoroughly. Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, stir all the crust topping ingredients together and spread evenly over the surface of the sweet potato mixture.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes and let sit for 20 minutes before serving.
