In a large pot of water, add potatoes and bring water to a boil over medium high heat.
Cook potatoes until fork tender. Drain water and return to the pan.
Add butter, cream cheese, evaporated milk, garlic salt and pepper, and let sit until butter and cream cheese start to melt.
Mix with an electric mixer until desired consistency is obtained.
Add Parmesan cheese and mix until combined.
Serve with chicken, beef, pork or fish, and vegetables.
