Maple Pecan French Toast

This Maple Pecan French Toast is easy to make and so delicious. It is a sweet twist on the classic French Toast that is loaded with maple flavors and pecans. It makes for the perfect breakfast dish!

Ingredients

For the Whipped Maple Pecan Butter

Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, add eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and maple extract. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
  • In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Coat each piece of bread in the egg dredge, making sure to cover both sides and all edges.
  • Place coated bread into your hot pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the egg is cooked and the bread is golden brown.
  • Remove cooked pieces and spread maple pecan butter on top, drizzle with maple syrup and top with chopped pecans. Enjoy.

For the Whipped Maple Pecan Butter

  • In a medium bowl, add all the ingredients, except the pecans.
  • Using an electric mixer, beat on high until fully combined. Stir in pecans.
  • Allow to set for all the flavors to meld together.
  • Serve over french toast, pancakes, waffles or toast.
