Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Cups

These delicious little 3-bite puff pastry appetizers are filled with finely diced ham, jalapenos, onions, two types of cheese and seasoned perfectly, then baked to golden brown perfection. The perfect appetizer for parties, potlucks and the big game!

  • Using a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add ham, jalapeños, onions and seasonings.
  • Cook until vegetables are tender and translucent.
  • Remove from heat, add to a bowl and let cool for 15 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese for 2-3 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  • Add shredded cheese. Stir.
  • Next, add ham mixture to cream cheese mixture and stir to combine.
  • Roll out thawed pastry dough on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut each sheet of dough into 9 even squares.
  • Lightly spray a muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place each pastry into the muffin pan and then fill up the cup with the ham and cheese mixture.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Carefully remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes, then remove from the pan and serve.
