  • 4 salmon fillets, skin on
  • ½ cup honey
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp orange juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and soy sauce. Add in the minced garlic and orange juice. Stir and set aside.

  2. Pat dry salmon fillets with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper on both sides of fillet.

  3. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Place salmon in the pan and pan fry fillets for 2-3 minutes per side, occasionally pressing down gently on fillets.

  4. Add prepared glaze over salmon and reduce heat.

  5. Simmer until salmon is cooked through (120°-130° is medium rare, 135°-145° is well done) and glaze thickens.

  6. Make sure to spoon some glaze over the salmon as it cooks.
