Preheat oven to 400°
Lay sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and poke all over with a fork.
Brush with oil, then bake for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven, cut a wedge in the top of each potato, scrape out the insides.
In a large bowl, mash together potato, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, maple syrup, milk, and pecans with two forks or a pastry cutter.
Re-stuff potatoes, top with a little more pecans, and bake again for 20 minutes.
Drizzle with maple syrup and serve.
