Easy Banana Pecan Bread

  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 cups ripe bananas, mashed (approximately 4 medium bananas)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 350° and spray a 9 x 5 baking dish with a non stick spray. Set aside. 

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.

  3. Add egg and lightly beat then add bananas and stir until incorporated.

  4. Mix baking soda and flour just until combined.

  5. Lastly, add chopped pecans and stir.

  6. Place into prepared baking dish and bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
