Spicy Tater Tot Casserole

  • 3 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 clove garlic minced
  • Salt pepper
  • 2 10 oz cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups spicy cheese grated (Any cheese will work. I used Three Alarm cheese which is really spicy)
  • Tater tots 2 lbs


  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onions over medium heat until done. Drain and return to skillet.
  3. Add soup into ground beef and cook for 5 minutes until hot.
  4. Put meat mixture into a 13 x 9 baking dish.
  5. Spoon sour cream over meat mixture.
  6. Sprinkle cheese over sour cream.
  7. Top with tater tots.
  8. Cook for 35 - 45 minutes, or until tater tots are browned.
  9. Serve with additional sour cream and cheese if needed.
