For the Apple Filling
In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients except apples
Pour into a prepared pie shell.
Peel and slice apples and arrange slices evenly on top of filling.
Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven.
For the Topping
In a small bowl, mix all ingredients with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly.
Sprinkle crumble topping evenly on top of apples and bake for 30-40 minutes until set.
Remove from oven, place on a wire rack and cool completely. Cover and refrigerate. Best serve cold.
