In a 6 or 8 quart crock pot, spray with non-stick cooking spray or use a liner.
Add diced onions and sliced apple to the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place pork chops on top and sprinkle with seasonings.
Spread cream of mushroom soup over the top of the pork chops and sprinkle packet of onion soup mix on top of the soup.
Pour vegetable broth over the top, cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low 6-7 hours.
