Mini Corn Dogs

Mini Corn Dogs are an easy homemade corn dog recipe that is perfect for dinner, lunch, an appetizer or an afternoon snack.

Instructions

  • In a saucepan (that is on the taller side), add oil and heat over medium high heat to 350 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk dry ingredients together.
  • In a small bowl, whisk egg, buttermilk and oil together until combined.
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
  • Dry off each hot dog with a paper towel and cut the hot dogs in half.
  • Place a skewer into one end of each hot dog and dip one at a time into the corn dog batter and then place into the hot oil.
  • Deep fry until golden brown.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
