BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 cups leftover pork shoulder shredded
  • cup barbecue sauce
  • cup chicken broth
  • 4 large buns
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • Fried onion strings optional
  • Additional barbecue sauce for drizzle

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, add pork, bbq sauce and broth. Stir.
  • Cook until heated through.
  • Add mayonnaise to both sides of each bun and set aside.
  • Using a large frying pan over medium high heat, cook buns, mayonnaise side down, until golden and crispy.
  • Place bottom bun on a serving plate, add pulled pork to the bun, topped with fried onion strings, drizzle with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
  • Place the top bun on top and enjoy.
