Mile High Nachos

Mile High Nachos are made with ground beef, jalapenos, nacho cheese, sour cream, salsa, and green onions.

  • Preheat oven to 400°
  • Cook ground beef and onions until meat is no longer pink. Drain, return to pan and add taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. 
  • Heat beans in a small saucepan until hot.
  • Spray a large stainless steel bowl generously with non-stick spray.
  • Add ¼ of the tortilla chips, followed by ¼ ground beef, beans, and cheese. Repeat 3 more times ending with cheese.
  • Place bowl in preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is hot and bubbly.
  • Carefully remove bowl from oven and scrape the cheese from the sides of the bowl.
  • Place a large platter or sheet pan over bowl and carefully invert. Remove bowl.
  • Heat nacho sauce until hot and pour over the top of the nachos.
  • Top with guacamole, sour cream, jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro.
