• Preheat oven to 350° and line an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper and sprayed with a non stick spray.

For The Chocolate Brownies

• In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
• In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs followed by cocoa powder and chocolate syrup.
• Gradually beat in flour mixture until smooth. then add milk and beat until combined.
• Spread brownie mixture in prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
• Carefully remove from oven and let cool completely before frosting.

For The Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

• In a medium bowl, beat butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and heavy cream until smooth.
• Spread buttercream frosting generously over brownies, and top with sprinkles and M&M’s.
• Cut into squares and enjoy.
