Crock Pot BBQ Beef Brisket

Ingredients

lb
beef brisket
1
large onion
chopped
6
cloves
garlic
minced
1 ½
cups
barbecue sauce

Tbs
vegetable oil
Salt and pepper
Instructions
In a large frying pan or cast iron pan, heat oil over medium/high heat.
Rub brisket with salt and pepper and sear until all sides are brown.
In a 6-8 quart crock pot, add chopped onions.
Place brisket on top of onions.
Add garlic and pour barbecue sauce over the top of the meat.
Cover and cook for 8 hrs on high, 10-12 hours on low.
