Strawberry Cream Cheese Pastry
This delicious strawberry cream cheese pastry ring is made with a sweet cream cheese mixture, a fresh strawberry sauce, and refrigerated crescent rolls. Made into a pastry ring, then it is baked to golden perfection and drizzled with glaze.

- 2 containers Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
Strawberry Filling
In a small saucepan over low heat, add strawberries, sugar, 3 tablespoons water, and lemon juice. Stir to combine and cook until strawberries have cooked down and a sauce starts to form.
In a small bowl, combine remaining water with cornstarch. Add to strawberry mixture and stir to combine.
Continue stirring until the strawberry mixture has thickened. Set aside to cool.
Cream Cheese Mixture
In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
Add sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, and lemon juice. Beat for an additional 2 minutes, or until all ingredients are well combined.
Unroll crescent rolls and separate into pre cut triangles.
Place triangles on an ungreased baking sheet so the wider end of roll is in the center, forming a circle with about a 5 inch opening in the center. When forming the circle, the wider ends of the crescent rolls will overlap.
Spread cream cheese mixture over the wide part of the crescent rolls.
Spoon strawberry filling on top of cream cheese mixture.
Fold the small tip of each crescent roll over and tuck tip under the wider part to secure forming the ring.
Bake in a preheated oven for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
Glaze Drizzle
In a small mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and milk. Whisk until fully combined and desired consistency is reached.
Drizzle glaze over cooled pastry ring.
